(Philips) regarding the Crest Sonicare IntelliClean System rechargeable toothbrush. In addition, Gillette has agreed to make Soft & Dri and Dry Idea deodaorant brands available for purchase by the Right Guard buyer.

SpinBrush (SOLD)
(Nov 4, 2005) — Church & Dwight completes purchase of SpinBrush(R) Toothbrush business from P&G. The sale was completed substantially under the original terms announced on Sep. 14, 2005, which called for Church & Dwight to pay $75 million in cash, plus an inventory settlement amount following the business transfer and additional payments of up to $30 million based on the near-term performance of the business.The transaction requires P&G to divest the rights and assets relating to adult battery-powered and rechargeable toothbrushes, including research and development data, sales and marketing materials, and intellectual property. In addition, P&G will provide Church & Dwight with a transitional license to the Crest trademark to use with the SpinBrush name.

The merger agreement requires P&G to amend its joint venture agreement with Philips. The amended agreement allows Philips independently to market and sell IntelliClean and eliminates all non-compete provisions, allowing both P&G and Philips to develop and sell rechargeable toothbrush products in the future.
I received one of your new Fusion razors in the mail the other day and it shaves great. The only thing that I don’t like about it is the slimy lube strip on the head. Not everyone likes that. If you have the replacement heads without the slimy lube strip then I’ll buy them. If you don’t then it’s back to the cheap Bic razors.
